George W. McHargue was elected Sheriff
on June 4, 1900. McHargue was born December 27, 1852 in Brownsville
Oregon. Sheriff McHargue served for two years. McHargue passed
away on March 17, 1927 at the Wesley Hospital, Marshfield, Coos
County, Oregon. He was laid to rest in the Pioneer Cemetery,
Brownsville Oregon. |
