Child ID Kit

Every parent has seen a picture of a missing child in the news and thought what an awful ordeal that must be for the family. We also think that could never happen to us. With any luck it won’t, but in the unfortunate circumstance that it does, the Linn County Sheriff’s Office would like to help you be better prepared to help law enforcement during the important first hours.

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office offers a Child ID Kit to you free of charge. It provides a way to keep all of your child’s vital information organized and together in one place so that it is available at a moments notice. You only need to call us to receive this valuable safety tool at no cost to you.

The Child ID Kit includes:

    photo and vital statistic information
fingerprint card
information on how do make a do-it-yourself DNA kit
important information in the event you need to use this kit
emergency phone numbers

To get your free Child ID Kit, please contact your Linn County Sheriff’s Office Community Service Officer. Jo Ann McQueary is at (541) 259-6126 or jmcqueary@le.linn.or.us.
