SAR Missions
Field Training Exercise (FTX) (June, 2004)
In June of 2004, Linn County Sheriff's Search and Rescue conducted a multi-day field training exercise (FTX) in the Mount Washington Wilderness Area. The FTX consisted primarily of new LCSO SAR recruits who had recently graduated from the Search and Rescue Academy. During the FTX, new recruits had the opportunity to hike, build shelters, conduct line searches, and perform other practice field training operations.

The full-pack hikes took the LCSO SAR members past majestic scenery.
