MISSION: |
|
| |
The mission of the Linn County Sheriff's Tactical Team
will be to support the citizens of Linn County,
Oregon with a tactical response to critical incidents. The basic
mission underlying all activities of the Linn County Sheriff's Tactical
Team will be to resolve all situations that arise, with negotiations
as a cornerstone whenever possible, without injury or loss of
life. |

TRAINING: |

Members of SWAT train monthly to
remain proficient in all areas related to the specialized duties
of the team. |
|
| |
COMPOSITION: |
|
| |
SWAT is comprised of approximately 22 deputies
who have all passed a rigid selection process. All members are
held to the highest physical and tactical competency standards. |
