| MISSION STATEMENT
|
| |
The mission of the Linn County Sheriff's Office
Dive Team is to provide a safe, effective, efficient, and professional
response to water rescue and recovery missions that require
the special talents and abilities of the team. |

COMPOSITION |
|
| |
The Linn County Sheriff's Office Dive Team is
comprised of 7 core Dive Team members who are all employees
of the LCSO, and 15 reserve Dive Team members who are members
of the general public, or are employees of the LCSO. |
|
| |
TRAINING |
|
| |
The LCSO Dive Team frequently trains
in areas such as Dive Rescue, Underwater Crime Scene Investigation,
Swift Water Rescue, Light Salvage and Recovery, Current Diving,
Boat Operations, and HazMat Diving... just to name a few. |
