1: What is the Traffic
Team's quota? |
|
| |
|
The Linn County Sheriff's Office
does not have a minimum number of tickets it needs to write.
We do, however, consider our quota to be zero... meaning zero
serious injury or fatal crashes occurring in the county during
each Traffic Team member's shift. |
|
| |
2: How much time does
a Traffic Team member spend in court? |
|
| |
|
Usually a couple of hours a month. |
|

|
|
| 3: Does the Traffic Team
receive any funds from the citations that its members write? |
| |
No part of the Linn County Sheriff's
Office (including the Traffic Team) is directly funded by citations
which the Linn County Sheriff's Office writes. When a citation
