As a courtesy to our visitors, both for general business at the Sheriff’s Office, and those visiting inmates at the Linn County Jail, we want to let the public know the Linn County Jail will be remodeling the Visitation Area beginning February 1st, 2016.

The remodel is expected to last up to three weeks. There will be interruptions to standard visitation hours during the remodel. Also, due to construction noise, visits may be difficult to conduct.

Visiting appointments must be made the day prior to the desired visit by telephoning the Jail at 541-812-9212. The visiting line is open from 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and then from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
