Linn County CERT Logo

Linn County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training promotes a partnership between professional emergency services agencies and the people they serve.  We support our local fire departments, police departments, emergency medical services, and a variety of emergency response agencies. Linn County CERT members are integrated into the emergency response capability for our communities.

If a disastrous event overwhelms or delays the community’s professional responders, Linn County CERT members can assist ourselves, our families, our neighbors, and our community by applying the basic response and organizational skills learned during training.

Linn County CERT is designed to prepare you in helping yourself and others in the event of a disaster.  You can make a difference by using your CERT training to save lives and protect property. Linn County CERT members maintain and refine their skills by participating in simulations and activities.

We are friends, neighbors, and community members volunteering our time and resources to make a difference!

Linn County CERT is first responders and citizens working together to build safer communities.
