SAR marching in the 2015 Veterans Day Parade

Sheriff Bruce Riley and his staff keep the peace, and serve the community, along side the best volunteers in the State of Oregon. From folks serving their local community working the front desk of our of our neighborhood substations, to Neighborhood Watch leaders, Sheriff’s Mounted Posse Deputies, and Search & Rescue volunteers, more than 200 people from around Linn County volunteer on a regular basis with the Sheriff’s Office.

Volunteering with the Sheriff’s Office

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office relies heavily on the hard work of citizens who volunteer their time and energy to help us fulfill our mission.

If you would like to become a volunteer, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at (541) 259-6126 or (541) 258-6940.  Our Volunteer Applications can be found on our Applications and Forms page.
