Chasteen was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis for serious injuries and is listed in stable condition.

Avritt and witnesses were detained and detectives are currently processing the scene for further evidence.

The Linn County Sheriff’s office was assisted by Lebanon Fire Department and Lebanon and Albany Police Departments.
