Beginning June 8, 2020, the Linn County Jail will begin accepting phone calls on the jail visiting line for the public to schedule social visits with friends and family in the facility. Each visiting area has restrictions on the number of visitors we can accommodate at one time, so visiting will still be limited regarding how many people can occupy the visiting area. In addition, only one person will be able to visit any adult in custody during a specified visiting time slot. The jail will not accept the scheduling of two visitors for a single time slot. The visiting times, days and procedure will remain the same as is outlined on our Jail Visitation page.
