Linn County Sheriff Bruce Riley reports on March 03, 2016, his detectives arrested Arthur John Schmalz, 45, of Eugene for sex abuse. Schmalz was arrested after a juvenile female reported an allegation of sex abuse. The reported crime arose from an event that occurred in 2014 when the family lived in Harrisburg.
Arthur was arrested and charged with Sex Abuse I. He was taken to the Linn County Jail where, after posting bail, was released.
