Linn County Undersheriff Jim Yon reports that his deputies have responded to a report of an explosive device by the railroad tracks near Crabtree Drive in Crabtree, Oregon. The Linn County Sheriff’s Office 9-1-1 dispatch center received a call today at 1:39 p.m., that an employee of Teevin Brothers Log Yard found a potential explosive device.
Deputies responded to the area and secured a safe perimeter around the device. Coordination with OSP Bomb Squad to render the device safe is under way.
