Linn County Undersheriff Jim Yon reports the name of the deceased is Lesly Esperanza Landstrom, 40-years-old, from Salem, Oregon. An autopsy was conducted this morning at the Oregon State Medical Examiner’s office in Portland. The Medical Examiner was unable to find a cause of death and will wait for the toxicology reports to make a determination. Toxicology results can take up to 90 days.
Linn County Undersheriff Jim Yon reports just after 6:00 pm tonight, Linn County 911 received a report of a deceased female in the area of Sheep Creek road and Hwy 20, east of Sweet Home.. Deputies and Detectives have responded to the area to investigate. The death is undetermined at this point and further investigation is required. The name of the deceased is being withheld until next of kin can be notified. A Linn County Medical Examiner will join the investigation. There is no further information at this time.
