Linn County Sheriff Bruce Riley is pleased to announce the third annual Linn County Sheriff’s Office Dog Fest. The event will be held July 30, 2016, from 10 am to 4 pm at the Linn County Animal Shelter, located at 3008 Ferry St SW, Albany.
We will be offering license amnesty on all non-enforced late fees, half price adoptions, $15.00 microchip clinic and a dog wash. The Oregon Mobile Veterinary Services will be offering a low cost vaccine clinic, as well as other veterinary services. There will be a dog contest and a treasure hunt for kids 12 and under (prizes awarded).
We will provide a barbeque with drinks and music. Numerous other vendors will have booths set up as well. Raffle prizes will be awarded along with a one year supply of dog food (12 bags), and free T-shirts will be given to the first 50 raffle entries. The shelter is also sponsoring a pet food give-away. K-9 demonstrations will be given by Albany Police Department and Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
