Linn County Sheriff Jim Yon reports that today his detectives arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile in connection to a drive-by shooting that occurred in Millersburg on February 27, 2021. The juvenile was taken to the Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Facility and lodged on the following charges: Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Murder in the Second Degree, Attempted Assault in the First Degree, Attempted Assault in the Second Degree, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
It was initially reported there were multiple shots into a duplex on Waverly Drive in Millersburg. Bullets penetrated the home, nearly missing two people.
