WILEY CREEK FIRE CREWS CONTINUE CONTAINMENT EFFORTS, AMID HIGH HEAT

Overnight infrared (IR) drone flights conducted by the Oregon Department of Forestry – South Cascade Fire Incident Command measure the Wiley Creek Fire at 241 acres. Extensive work was accomplished yesterday to widen the containment buffer along the fire perimeter. Today, that work will continue, even amid the high heat, changing winds, and dropping humidity. All of these conditions create the potential for changing fire behavior.
