Earlier this evening, at approximately 8:16 p.m., Linn County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch received a report of a domestic disturbance in rural Linn County, outside of Lebanon. Deputies were involved in a shooting with a male suspect at the property. The male suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. No law enforcement personnel were injured during the incident.
As required by agency policy and deadly force protocol, Sheriff Michelle Duncan requested the Oregon State Police investigate the incident.
