Linn County Sheriff Jim Yon would like to thank everyone who attended and supported the Linn County Sheriff’s Office Dog Fest open house held last Saturday July 21, 2018 at the Animal Shelter.
During this event, our office microchipped 13 dogs and sold 35 dog licenses. Numerous dogs were bathed and got their nails trimmed. Although no dogs were adopted at this year’s event, we appreciate everyone’s interest. This year we were able to raise $297.00 in donations which will go towards the care of our shelter animals.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank everyone who volunteered during this event. Our volunteers and staff make this event possible and contribute to its success. We would also like to thank our supporters for the event; Pepsi Cola, Wilco, Heartland, Safe Haven, VSI, My Little Dog Training and Dr. Jennifer Choate with Care Hearing veterinarian services.
