Linn County Undersheriff Paul Timm reports the Linn County Sheriff’s Office’s participation in the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) event over the Super Bowl weekend was a successful joint effort.
Linn County Deputies stopped a total of 97 vehicles during this two day event; totaling 63 hours of additional traffic enforcement throughout the County. These traffic stops included: 30 citations issued for various traffic violations, 87 warnings, 7 arrests for miscellaneous warrants, and two DUII arrests.
The Linn County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank everyone for their safe driving practices and following the rules of the road during this busy weekend.
